In July 2023, 8 College staff headed to Westlake Boys High School in Auckland, New Zealand to attend the 2023 IBSC Annual Conference. The Conference program is available here.
It was an opportunity for staff to build an understanding of professional excellence, and support colleague Ilona Welch as she also presented at the conference.
Staff were encouraged to consider 3 things they liked; 2 things they'd like to explore; and the most important idea they took from each session. They presented at an all-staff meeting on the return to school in Term 3.
Feedback from attendees included:
