  • Leadership Team

The Writing Progressions draft enables teachers to identify the targets for each faculty and enables an interdiciplinary understanding of how students are working and the next steps they will be taking.

The Writing Progressions offer a structured roadmap outlining the developmental stages of writing proficiency for each KLA. As a valuable tool, they facilitate a deeper understanding of writing development for students across various disciplines at the College.

By utilising these progressions, teachers can gain insights into individual students' literacy growth, irrespective of subject matter. This knowledge enables the creation of targeted teaching and learning programs, ensuring each student receives personalised support to excel academically. The learning progressions will be encapsulated into programs in 2025 and aligned with each faculty syllabus.

The Teaching and Learning website provides a space for teachers to deep dive into the Literacy project and supports the collaboration of teachers across faculties.
