Community

  • Stakeholder engaged:
  • Leadership Team

The season of Christmas reminds us to consider those less-fortunate members of our community. As such, we prepared Vinnies Christmas Hampers for local families who may be struggling.

Each Tutor Group, Primary class and ‘other’ groups such as Leadership, maintenance/front office, etc were asked to fill a box of items.

Each box contained exactly what was requested by the Vinnies Christmas Appeal:

  • 1 Christmas cake/pudding
  • 1 packet of long life custard
  • 2 packets of jelly crystals (red/green)
  • 1 can of tinned fruit
  • 1 can of tinned vegetables
  • 1 packet of potato (Deb)
  • 1 instant gravy
  • 1 tin tuna
  • 1 can of ham
  • 1 packet of pasta
  • 1 jar of pasta sauce
  • 1 tin of tomatoes
  • 1 packet of rice
  • 1 packet of biscuits
  • 1 packet of pretzels
  • 1 pancake shake (bottle)
  • 1 maple syrup
  • 2 jars of spreads (jam, vegemite etc)
  • 1 box of tea bags
  • 1 jar of coffee
  • 1 long life milk

... along with a Christmas Card.

Over 100 Christmas hampers were delivered to Vinnies, who were very grateful for our school’s efforts.
