Child Safety Standards – developing a greater sense of safety
Student Leaders produced a Child Safety Standards clip to explain each of the ten standards to our younger boys. The clip was presented to the student body at a College Assembly by Vice Captain Charlie Blank who spoke about the importance of child safety within the educational system.
Charlie said, “Child safety at St Augustine’s is not just a policy; it is a fundamental pillar of effective education. It creates an atmosphere where learning flourishes, relationships thrive, and students feel empowered to take risks and learn from their experiences. Let us not only maintain our commitment to child safety but strengthen it, ensuring that every child walks into our schools not just to study but to truly grow and succeed.”
Well done to Charlie for a great speech and to all the Student Leaders for producing the Child Safety Standards clip.
