Due to internal staff movement, the College undertook a recruitment process for a new Dean of Students.
Given the Deans work closely with students in the College, a decision was made to have the School Captain and Vice Captain, Max Martin and Charlie Darrow, represent the students by being involved in the first round of shortlisted candidates' interviews.
They were trained on interview techniques and privacy. They had the opportunity to write a question to ask and then were given the opportunity to provide feedback on candidates.
Following the recruitment process, the College was pleased to appoint Tom Waterhouse as the new Dean of Students for the start of the 2024 school year, joining us from Knox Grammar.
