SRC Lends Voice to Student Services


Food Services Manager Dan Rogers attended an SRC meeting to gain insight into student ideas for the canteen, with a productive brainstorming session. In this meeting they put forward their desire to make the canteen more enviro-friendly. This was followed through and there were some changes to the packaging in the canteen, with the process still ongoing.

The SRC also collected feedback from the entire student body via a Suggestion Box.





Some of the student ideas implemented included:

  • Protein shakes in vending machines
  • Introduction of zinger burgers
  • Sparkling water in vending machines
  • More sushi options
