Monique Douglas finalised her 4:2:6 research project with the development of RESET. This complements the Saints Behaviour Grid established in 2023. RESET is for staff and how to address situations when behaviour has not been met. M. Douglas undertook staff sessions and student interviews. Strong feedback from students was the need for consistency and “boys to be treated the same” when issued with consequences. After RESET was being rolled out to students and staff a consequences guide and Flow chart was also developed for staff to complement their following up behaviour issues in line with the RESET structure.

As noted in the updated Student Management Policy, “RESET is a classroom behaviour management process which allows for students who do not meet the expectations within the College to be offered an opportunity to rectify their behaviour in a timely manner before a formal SEQTA entry is made.”

The abridged student-friendly version below has been placed in all classrooms, above the Saints Behaviour Grid.

The further-developed staff version is included in the Student Management Policy.
