A beautiful spring day greeted our 76 golfers in 19 teams on the superb Cromer Golf Course for another spectacular Saints Community Golf Day & Lunch on 24 October.

There were prizes available for Nearest the Pin, Longest and Straightest drives and a Happy Gilmore fun activity for all on the first tee sponsored by Natuvion. In addition, the Cromer golf pro, Nick, provided smashing drives on the 7th tee and a Big Hole made things a bit easier on the 4th green. First year sponsor Sydney Beer Co generously provided beverages during the golf round and lunch.

Congratulations to the team of Year 7 Dads who finished on the top of the podium in a very close tussle for bragging rights this year.

The College Foundation sincerely thanks the many parents, Old Boys and friends of the College who generously supported the Saints Community Golf Day, through sponsorship, donation of prizes in our live auction and raffle and playing. Over $10,000 was raised during the event which will assist with the education of all students at the College.

Many thanks to Alan Wild (Class of 1963) who assisted us through the day and to Old Boy Lochie MacPherson (Class of 2007) from Cunnigham’s, for being our fantastic auctioneer.
