2023 was the third year the College has hosted the RAISE programme for Year 8 students.

This is an evidence-based mentoring programme that provides an early intervention strategy to adolescents in schools to:

  • Foster help-seeking through specially trained Mentors
  • “Equip young people with the tools, skills and resources they need to support their mental health, social and emotional wellbeing and engagement with school” (from RAISE website)
  • Provide a trusted adult to talk over any issues, in a one-on-one support framework by giving young people a voice.
  • All in a trusted, safe and reliable way, with a College Psychologist on hand for any intervention/assistance as required.

Congratulations to our mentors and mentees.
