The Primary School uses evidence-based research to implement the explicit teaching model, the gradual release of control model as well as the writing rope approach in teaching word, sentence, paragraph and text level writing.

The Primary School writes frequently, every day for 60 minutes and for different purposes. The boys write to persuade and argue, gather information, chronicle personal experiences, create imaginary worlds, and to write about their own experiences and culture. They also write to sharpen their understanding of what they read.

The Primary School completed mandatory NESA requirements to plan, program and implement English and Mathematics in 2024. All programs follow the gradual release of control model as well as visible thinking routines.

The Primary School is well placed for NESA registration on 18 June 2025.
