As part of our Saints Support – Athletic Performance and Care series, we had Dan Haesler, Performance and Mental Skills Coach at the Penrith Panthers, present at the College about his online mental skills platform Play Fearless and give the students a sample session of the online program.
From this session, we had 40 boys sign up to complete the full program. The program is delivered online to complete at their own pace, with regular Zoom check-ins with Dan to allow question and answer about any of the modules.
Modules for the program include: The Fundamentals (Who are you and who do you want to be? What is your Performance Gap? The High-Performance Triangle), Getting to Grips with the Mind (Red/Blue Framework, Expressing Identity, Understanding Pressure, Mindfulness), Pre-Competition – Quietening the Inner Critic, During Competition – Own the Moments That Matter, Post Competition – The Art of Mental Recovery.
The College will have Semesterly intakes for the program with a Summer Intake (over Term 4 and 1) and a Winter Intake (Term 2 and 3).
