On Saturday 4 March, a group of fathers and their Year 9 sons participated in the 24 hour swim hosted by the team at ‘Head Above Water’ at the Collaroy pool under the team name SAINTS YR9 SOCIALITES. Participants were encouraged to swim as little or as much as they wanted.
‘Head Above Water’ raises funds for mental health workshops specifically targeting the Northern Beaches and they made funds available for College workshops. More information can be found at Head Above Water
The 5pm time was ideal for an informal social gathering after the swim at the Collaroy Hotel and all fathers and sons were invited.
