The College rugby players all took the trip over the mountains to play our friends from St Stanislaus College on Saturday 5 August. It is a huge logistical undertaking with 10 buses packed and ready to go for the 14-15 hour day. The boys were outstanding and enjoyed some spirited competition with the country boys. At 3:10am, all 400+ rugby players joined at Main Oval to form a tunnel for the First XV. There was a huge amount of support and the First XV rose to the challenge defeating St Stanislaus College 38-14. The long trip home was supplemented with McDonalds and KFC stopovers. It was a long but very rewarding day.
