Development of a bespoke leadership development program

In 2024 we finished development of, and launched, our bespoke Leadership Development Program. This innovative program, designed internally over more than 18 months, enhances leadership capabilities and fosters personal growth in various leadership facets, including emotional intelligence, diversity and inclusive leadership, and effective team management. The program is built on global best practice leadership concepts and our values of Truth, Love, and Community. Our first program was open to staff who currently hold or aspire to hold leadership positions and more than 20% of our staff expressed interest in participating, reflecting its alignment with individual professional learning goals and school-wide priorities. Developing strong, emotionally intelligent leaders, contributes to improved student learning outcomes and supports the development of a positive and supportive learning environment for students and staff. The program was highly successful and will continue to run with at least one more program running in 2025.
