Prefect – Sport Liam Toole reflects on his experience on the Rugby Tour of Fiji. “On the last full day of the trip, the group travelled in land to one of the villages then hiked to the local primary school, Koroinasau Primary School. Singing and dancing started as the school was so excited to see us. Mr Ale was the standout performer, putting smiles on all the kids faces. Rugby matches and running around with someone on your shoulders quickly became the main activity during lunch before the whole group walked back to the village. This was followed by a greeting ceremony which involved dancing, singing and Cava. Food was presented by the village before one of the best ‘One Heart One Mind’ renditions was ever sung by our boys. A final tour of the village capped off the day for the group and the trip as a whole.”
