In August, two free events were run to allow College parents to get together with the Tomorrow Man/Tomorrow Woman teams, for an engaging and impactful two hours of casual and honest conversations exploring what tomorrow might look like for both parents and young men.

Our students participate in similar workshops as part of our AWE Wellbeing Framework and this was a wonderful opportunity to blend the conversations we have at the College with conversations at home with sons.

Discussions included the outdated stereotypes that are leaving some of our mates, dads, sons, teammates, workmates and brothers stranded without the tools to live a healthy life and a no-holds-barred, honest, open conversation about the state of man. One of the objectives was to face the stats and explore how to look after ourselves, our mates, families and communities better.

The events were opportunities to learn to develop and foster engaging conversations with the young people in our lives about how they can be authentic, honest and proud to be themselves.
