Catholic and Augustinian Identity

1B. Further embed a contemporary understanding of the Augustinian values of Truth, Love, Community, Humility and Interiority from The Graduate of an Augustinian Catholic School.

  • To promote the 2025 value focus of Humility to the student body.
  • Stakeholder engaged:
  • Students

Student leaders, the SRC, and tutor groups have actively shaped the College's culture around our value focus. Patron's Day was organised and run by the 2025 and 2026 student leadership teams, with senior boys leading younger students through community-building activities, including the Bishop's Pace Race.

Two Year 7 and 8 AWE lessons each term explored humility through the four-step apology, and Senior School AWE sessions focused on gratitude and reflective listening through the Wisdom of the Elders peer forum.

A Term 3 holiday immersion saw ten students travel to remote villages in Fiji in partnership with Brigidine College St Ives, contributing service through fencing, farming and painting while immersing in village life. On returning home the boys presented at assembly to encourage others to participate in service trips.

Student leaders also organised the Parents' Breakfast and supported the Graduation Morning Tea on Year 12 Graduation Day, demonstrating leadership, hospitality and a spirit of generosity.
