In 2025, the College made meaningful progress toward its strategic priority to invigorate parent engagement within the P&F through renewed enthusiasm and participation. In close partnership with the Parents & Friends Association, a vibrant calendar of in-person opportunities was delivered to foster connection, welcome, and shared purpose across the parent community.
Key touchpoints throughout the year included the First Day New Parent Morning Tea, All Parents Welcome Evening, and Principal’s Parent Dinners for Years 5 and 7, each designed to strengthen relationships and deepen understanding of the College journey.
Community celebrations such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day events, alongside the Year 12 Graduation Breakfast, further reinforced a sense of belonging and shared pride. Parents were also highly visible through their generous support at Open Day, fundraising initiatives, and across the rich life of the College at sporting fixtures, co-curricular season launches, and badge dinners, where their presence contributed to a strong, unified College spirit.
The P&F continued to evolve its structure and communication approaches to better reflect the needs and aspirations of contemporary families. As a valued stakeholder, it remains a vital conduit between parents and the College, ensuring that the collective parent voice informs direction and priorities.
Looking ahead to 2026, there are clear signs of sustained momentum. Renewed enthusiasm is evident in the increasing number of parents stepping forward to contribute, including many new volunteers taking on executive roles within the P&F. Together, this growing engagement reflects a flourishing partnership committed to nurturing a connected and engaged College community.
