Community

4B. Promote and enrich the leading role the College plays in serving and participating in the local and wider community.

  • To create an environment where students acknowledge the value of our extended community through engagement and collaboration.
  • Stakeholder engaged:
  • Students

Service has remained at the heart of student life. Students attended the Lifeline Book Fair, the Vinnies Secondary Schools Conference at ACU, and the Common Ground Program where Northern Beaches students worked together on creative responses to discrimination and prejudice.

Year 12 students participated in a Personal Branding Workshop, and the SRC and Prefects hosted a Bake Sale and fundraising drive in support of Women and Children First (WACF), helping cover sports registration costs for children in need. Students have continued to support WACF through the regular Homework Club.

Student leaders also strengthened our links beyond the College — presenting at the Year 5 and Year 7 2026 Parent Information Evenings, attending the Brigidine College St Ives Trivia night with other local schools, and participating in the Warringah Youth Ambassadors Program. Planning is well underway for three Year 10 boys to visit Malvern Prep, Philadelphia, as part of the student exchange program in the upcoming holiday.
