Our Catholic Augustinian Identity
1A. Strengthen a shared, contemporary, community model of the Catholic Augustinian traditions with an explicit focus on developing a Christ-centred personal faith and spirituality.
- To enhance staff understanding of College values through lived, observable routines and rituals
- Stakeholder engaged:
- Staff
The Augustinian Values Online Course (AVOC) — a bespoke module developed in consultation with Villanova staff — was completed and is now ready to be rolled out to all staff as part of our Augustinian Adult Formation. The course articulates our unique Catholic Augustinian values and how they guide behaviour and practice across the College. A more user-friendly online platform is now being investigated to refresh how the content is delivered.
The yearly mission theme of Humility anchored language and rituals across new staff onboarding, our staff days, and our Opening Masses of the Holy Spirit.

The College has also been working with Villanova College to take a combined proposal to the North American Provinces, seeking to host the Augustinian Values Institute (AVI) in Australia in 2027/28.
